Meghan Manahan

About Meghan Manahan

Meghan Manahan is the Director of 福利福利云点播全部免费区 Libraries. She leads library staff in integrating library support into teaching, learning, and scholarship across the university. In her current role, she manages the total operations of the O’Shaughnessy-Frey, Charles J. Keffer, and Archbishop Ireland Memorial Libraries, including strategic planning and budgeting, and managing staff, collections, and spaces.

Ms. Manahan’s areas of interest and experience in library science focus on technical services and collection management, as well as organization development. She has led departments and initiatives across libraries through change, including strategic planning, workflow and staff reorganizations, physical moves, and system migrations. Staff support and development is at the heart of this work.

Ms. Manahan earned her Master’s in Library Science from Queens College, City 福利福利云点播全部免费区 of New York. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Macalester College. Prior to coming to St. Thomas in 2014 as an associate director, she held positions in the libraries at the American Museum of Natural History, where she assisted in moving museum publications to open access; New York 福利福利云点播全部免费区, as head of acquisitions and then interim director of technical services; and George Mason 福利福利云点播全部免费区, where she was director of technical services.
